Theatre Metalwork

When you next visit a West End Theatre look up at the ornate ceiling and imagine what lies behind it. There is a hidden world of crawl spaces and gangways. As these magnificent buildings are mostly Victorian the walkways were made from planks of wood. In order to comply with safety and fire regulations, we have replaced the wood with metal runaways and safety rails. That way the behind the scenes activities can be done safely when they create the magic seen on stage.
